Hanbok

Today, we had a Korean culture class. A group of Korean ladies brought traditional Korean clothing, called Hanbok, for us to try on. These costumes are actually very expensive if you were to buy them. They're made of fancy, silky materials; some have a lot of embroidery. It was so fun seeing everyone (including the guys, though they wore pants, not dresses) dressed up in these.

Bee (BongWan Gang)

Jason (our Korean group leader for our group)

The speaker of the culture class. She was so cute.

A Korean family demonstrated the proper way to bow to parents or elders during a formal gathering/ceremony. I think they said they do this at New Years.

The costumes are so awesome.

Well, I'm off to bed. Taekwondo lessons tomorrow!
